Our own West Coast Lead Brooks Wallace was interviewed recently by PR Daily about 2019 PR industry campaign wins. The article dives into the success stories from the past year, from brands entering cultural conversations such as Gillette’s transgender ad or Nike’s plus size mannequin to stoking friendly competition between brand rivals like we saw in the Chicken Sandwich War between Popeyes and Chick-fil-A.

Brooks Wallace of Hollywood Agency says the dispute was a surprise success, particularly for Popeyes and Chick-fil-A.  “Who knew fast-food chicken sandwiches could stir up such a windstorm?” she says. “Both brands capitalized on the buzz exceptionally well and serve as a prime example of rapid-response PR at its finest.”
